Extension privacy policy
TrenchEZ is a wallet tracker and demo (paper) trading tool. It does not trade real funds and cannot send transactions.
What stays on your device
- Your recovery phrase. If you create or import a wallet, the phrase is encrypted with your password (AES-GCM, with a key derived by PBKDF2-SHA256 at 600,000 iterations) and stored only in your browser's extension storage. It is never transmitted, and TrenchEZ cannot recover it for you.
- Wallet addresses and balances, your demo account (bankroll, positions, trade history, loss limits, exit plans, discipline settings) and your preferences are stored locally in
chrome.storage.local.
What leaves your device, and why
The extension makes read-only requests to public services so it can show you data:
| Service | What is sent | Why |
|---|---|---|
| DexScreener API | Token or pair addresses you view on supported sites or hold demo positions in | Live price, liquidity and market cap for demo fills and automatic exits |
| Solana RPC (public default, or one you set) | Wallet addresses you added | Balances |
| Robinhood Chain RPC and Blockscout | Wallet addresses you added | Balances and token holdings |
| Jupiter price API | Token addresses held in your wallets | USD values |
| TrenchEZ — only if you sign in | Your demo account (never wallets or keys) and your session token | Syncing the demo account across devices |
These services receive your IP address as part of any web request and are governed by their own privacy policies. No request ever contains your recovery phrase, private keys or password.
Pages the extension reads
On MevX, GMGN, Dexscreener and TrenchEZ, the extension reads the page address and visible token information to show the demo trading panel. It does not run on other sites, and it does not read form fields, cookies or browsing history, or record what you view.
What we don't do
No analytics. No advertising. No selling or sharing of data. No tracking across sites. TrenchEZ collects nothing unless you sign in to sync, and then only the demo account.
Your control
- Sign out at any time to stop sync.
- “Reset demo account” clears demo history and bankroll. It never touches wallets.
- Removing the extension deletes everything it stored locally, including the encrypted wallet. Back up your recovery phrase first.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes to what leaves your device will be shown in the extension before they take effect.
